Hello again!

Well hello again! I'm back for a quick post - before it's time to pick up the kids from school.  It was a huge, busy, crazy, tiring, memory making summer.  We finally (almost!) finished all the work we had to do in our Maine house to get it listed and put on the market.  We have a friend coming in to finish up some wall papering and sheet rock work in a few of the bedrooms - but - other than that she's ready for a new family.  The real estate market in New England is S.L.O.W., but I know the right buyer will come along when the time is right.  For now, we are still in our tiny little cottage in West Texas - making do with the space we have.  We have two storage units that hold most of our belongings - I'm feeling like it will be Christmas when we open all our boxes one day.

On the creative front - well...............I lost my mojo for a long time.  BUT - it's coming back slowly!! I'm going to be attempting to make some Annie bag holders to sell for a little extra spending money.  If it goes well, I have a Santa that I will market at the schools for Christmas money.  I am still working on the Birdie Stitches BOM - I'm currently on April.  And I have found a new little project that will be starting on Monday, September 19th.  Read it about it here!
The kids are all back to school in week 4 already - everyone seems to be happy. Health-wise I have been having back trouble - will have some back x-rays to see how bad the arthritis is.  I actually started Yoga with a couple of friends this week - yikes it is a lot harder than it looks.  I think I will enjoy it though - I'm looking forward to a healthy me :)

Gotta run - so good to be back!

  1. Hope you get your mojo back...I love your header and all the fun accents..

  2. I bet it will be a good relief to get everything taken care of and your house sold! It is hard to have all your things in storage (or most of them anyway) Hope your back gets better and enjoy yoga!

  3. Sweetie I will be praying your house sells, for a very good price and quickly. I do think you'll feel like Christmas when you're finally able to have all your things around you again! Glad you have your mojo back, busy hands are happy hands, right? Hugs to you!

  4. ps - I hope your back is feeling better soon - I've got severe spinal arthritis, it's no fun but KEEP MOVING!!!

  5. Lets hope your house sells soon so you can get on:) Sorry to hear about your back...but YOGA??? Your will become ever so flexible:)

  6. Welcome Back!! I'm behind, as usual! lol!! Good to see you again! Hope you get to feeling better, and you are right - it is like Christmas when you get to open those boxes up. Be patient..the housing market is stinky everywhere. Just hang in there, get some fun stuff out to do and let the time fly by. Hugs Kiddo!

I really do appreciate you coming to my blog and reading what I have to share. And I especially want to say thank you for taking the time to comment!
