I'd like to share yesterday's sand storm with you. Here we go:
It begins:
Driving to avoid the tumbleweed is a huge priority!
Now it really starts to get dark and visibility decreases!
Now, I really am wishing I could go back home!
At least we can see the road!
Thanks for coming along for the ride - thankfully sand storms only last an hour or so!

Wow, I do not think I would like that. But our snow storms are bad and can last a long time, as you know.
ReplyDeleteWow!!! I've never seen a sand storm! Cool!!
ReplyDeleteOMG, were these photoc taken in Seminole? Being from west Texas myself, I have experienced this type of sand storm. Definitely no fun. Nice photos though.
ReplyDeleteThat's just crazy! Does it happen often?
ReplyDeleteNow that is a storm!!
ReplyDeleteLol, I think I'll stick to watching/photographing our rain storms coming in across the hills. At least I can't lose any skin if I'm caught in a rain storm and the car is cleaner!!
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Robyn
What a great series of photos, thanks for braving the storm to share them with us!
ReplyDeleteWOW. That is amazing! Great pics, but scary sight!
ReplyDeleteIncredible photos!
ReplyDeleteI really like #3.
Don't hink I'd like being in a sandstorm Laurie... looks a bit eerie and scary too.
Glad you are fine and so glad you had your camera with you :-)
Sand storms and driving don't look like they go hand and hand.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you made it to your destination.
